( IAS Officer Surendra Kumar Meena, District Magistrate & Collector, of the Alipurduar district , In North Bengall, Visited Adma Village, which is a non motarable & remotest village of the district to vaccinate all the eligible populace of the village. The entire team walked all the way to this remotest village covering 18-20km ( both side).
Visited ADMA VILLAGE, which is a non motarable and remotest village of the District to vaccinate all the eligible populace of this village .We walked all the way to this remotest village covering 16-18 km from the nearby village called POKHARI along my team and the team of entire health workers carrying cold box of Covid Vaccine.
Shri Surendra Kumar Meena, IAS, visited all most all the houses of the village and informed them the motives behind organising the Covid Vaccination programme in this village in a camp mode and encouraged them to come forward for vaccination. He appealed to the people not to harbour any misconceptions related to Covid-19 vaccine. No doubt it was an uphill task to persuade the local people but ultimately the entire eligible populace was convinced and vaccinated at the end of the day.
The District Magistrate, Sri Surendra Kumar Meena IAS, also organised an awareness programme on Covid-19, distributed mask and sanitizers to the villagers .The local gram Panchyat members including the villagers expressed their happiness and gratitude to the District Magistrate for walking all the way to this remotest village and organising this vaccination programme .
